Hungarian is a smaller language than English or German, so it often gets thin support from cloud dictation tools, and sending your speech abroad to be transcribed raises exactly the data-transfer questions the NAIH cares about. Voicetypr takes a different route: the local Whisper and Parakeet models are multilingual and transcribe Hungarian directly on your own machine. In local mode your audio never leaves the device, we store nothing on our servers, and no recording is shipped to a cloud transcription service — so a less-served language stays both well-handled and private.
